At the end of August, the Vivo president said that the company will launch the first tablet in the first half of 2022. And while we are waiting for more information, leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed that the company will launch eyeing a tablet with the Snapdragon 870, although it's unclear if the leaker is referring to Vivo's first tablet or another model.

Accordingly, the company registered the trademark "vivo Pad" with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in June, covering PDAs and tablets. In addition, a Vivo device believed to be a tablet was also spotted on TUV's website with an 8,040 mAh battery.

Vivo isn't the first BBK Electronics group to launch a tablet. Realme is the company that launched the first tablet with the Realme Pad launched in September with a slim design, metal case, Helio G80 chip and 10.4-inch screen and 7,100 mAh battery.

In addition, OnePlus and OPPO are also expected to enter the tablet segment. OnePlus previously trademarked "OnePlus Pad" with EUIPO in July. Elsewhere, a few leaked images have revealed that OPPO Pad (expected name) will come with Snapdragon 870, RAM 6 GB, 256 GB internal memory, ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 and 120 Hz display.

This leaker also claims that OPPO Pad will come with 13 MP main camera, 8 MP secondary camera, 8,080 mAh battery and have a price of 310 USD (about 7 million VND).
